We offer a specialized, hybrid program for teaching students to improve their scores on the SAT exam. We begin with a diagnostic test to evaluate baseline scores. After that, we begin our group classes. During our summer group sessions, instructors teach the fundamental concepts covered in each section of the SAT, including Math, Critical Reading, and Writing. Additionally, we go through test-taking strategies and techniques.
At the end of these sessions, another diagnostic test is administered, followed by 10 weeks of group review. Finally, areas of difficulty are covered in 4 hours of one-on-one instruction for the remainder of the course. This personalized approach to SAT instruction is flexible to individual learning styles. As a result, our course is an alternative to other, more formulaic programs.
Our classes are very small, with a student to teacher ratio of 8 to 1. Our instructors have achieved the highest scores on the exam. Finally, our courses are very rigorous and we assign homework nightly. With our curriculum, on average, our students see an increase of 200 points from their initial diagnostic test.
We do offer the option of shortened programs, if parents request it However, we recommend registering for the complete course, as students realize maximum benefit from the full curriculum.
